ROLL UP FOR CHANGE | COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

Roll Up For Change was our very first initiative! Cuppa Change believes donating winning Tim Hortons rims goes hand-in-hand with our mission to educate Canadians of how simple actions can make a big difference within their communities. This initiative provided students with the opportunity to give back in a socially and environmentally sustainable way, by donating their winning rims of coffee and donuts. With the help of the local community, Cuppa Change donated over 393 rims and one $20.00 gift card to Shepherds of Good Hope.

The Roll Up For Change initiative aimed to contribute to the safe environment provided within our community shelter, which brings access to services and resources for those in need. As we at Cuppa Change value strength in our community, winning rims were not only donated to our partner Shepard’s of Good Hope, but encouraged those in need to enter the shelter.

By sharing your winning rims with us and our partner Shepard’s of Good Hope, we have initiated a change in the conversation. A change that is the gateway to a community relationship built on shared responsibility. A Cuppa Change.

cuppa change PUB NIGHT | FUNDRAISING EVENT:

Cuppa Change partnered with Patty Bolands to celebrate the successes of #RollUpForChange and raised money to further our legitimacy as a charity and to fund future initiatives that are proposed by youth! In total, we raised $1170.00 from our very first pub night. Thank you for all those who bought tickets, came out, and danced the night away! We truly could have not done it without your constant support.

BAKE SALE @ UOTTAWA | FUNDRAISING EVENT:

Cuppa Change also held 2 bake sales at uOttawa campus to get our organizations name out to the student body and raise money to fund future initiatives. During these bake sales, we had several stimulating conversations surrounding environmental sustainability with students, faculty members, and the general public.
